Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were lovely with all home comforts, but being above the through road of the village made it a bit noisy and uncomfortably hot due to the lack of airflow. The hotel's location was fantastic for exploring Devon, but did have a strange vibe at times. The dining experience was amazing, especially with the pre-ordering service, but the noise from a wedding party affected my overall satisfaction.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean, just like the photos on the website. The variety of toiletries supplied in the ensuite was a nice touch. The service was top-notch, and the location provided an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. The dining experience was delightful with a great choice of well-presented and cooked dishes.
The hotel offers lovely and spacious rooms that are stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. While they are a bit small and close to the road, this couldn't be helped. The service was exceptional, especially the housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance. The location is very quiet, providing an excellent base to explore the surrounding area, yet conveniently close to Kingsbridge, Totnes, and Dartmouth. The dining experience was fantastic, with a good area for walking and delicious meals served in a lovely sunroom. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing stay with fantastic service and dining options.
